Portland/Freeport

Tuesday was an interesting day to say the least. It was the only rainy day so we decided to head into Portland to do some shopping. If only we would have known then that the rain was going to be the least of our worries! Besides the rain, Ben had to take Mom to the ER to get stitches from slicing her finger open on a tin can. That should have been a warning for all of us to stay home. A storm was brewin'

In Portland there was this cool chalkboard sign on the side of a restaraunt. Can you tell which one is mine?
I'll give you a hint: it's in the first column

The company LL Bean has their main store in Freeport. Somewhere there is a picture of me standing in front of a giant boot ;)--anyway, this store was HUGE (think Cabelas in Lehi, but bigger and less hunting/shooting and more clothing, homegoods and biking/skiing)

So by the time Tuesday ended the ENTIRE family had a stomach bug and was puking. It was a fast moving sickness (thank the heavens) and by Wednesday morning no one wanted to do much of anything except sit around the house in their pajamas.
