August Adventures Pt. 2

We were able to fit in a couple last lake days before school started.

One day we went to Red Fleet with friends. Some nice people were kind enough to let my kids play in their kayaks.

Another day we took the boat out and did some water skiing.

Blake company always does a fantastic job putting on the summer picnic each year. The kids LOVE it and we always have a great time.

The biggest highlight is the all you can eat treats like cotton candy and snow cones.

 Porter was being a sweet older brother  and holding Grant's hand on their way to the bouncy houses.

 Getting face (or arm) paintings was Brooke's favorite.

 We stayed until almost 4pm, which was probably a little too long considering Grant didn't get to take his nap. When it was his turn for face painting, he wouldn't let the painter finish the job and then cried the whole way to the car.
