We kicked off July with the parade and fireworks on the 4th and it seemed like it was just non-stop until the end of the month.

Every Thursday night during the month of June/July the city puts on free entertainment. They have bounce houses set up before the show begins. We didn't go to all of the shows, but the kids really wanted to see the magic show.
Brooke got a kids cookbook from the library and made these banana chocolate chip muffins all by herself by reading and following the directions! They turned out yummy!
Porter particpated in Utah's UPSTART preschool program. It's an online free preschool that kids do from home for 15 minutes a day. Not going to lie, it was rough some days and I can't believe we finished! The "cool" factor of getting to be on the computer wore out pretty quickly for Porter and he hates singing (makes Primary loads of fun for him), so he didn't always like getting on and doing the activities. Plus, it was 15 minutes 5x a week even over school holiday breaks and throughout the entire month of June. I think mom deserves a certificate too! BUT, I will say that it was worth it. He learned a lot and I think is very prepared for Kindergarten now.
