What the Hail?

Tuesday evening we had a surprise hail storm. And what a storm it was too! Huge ball of hail came crashing down fast and furious. Many of our neighbors had their siding not just dented but holes through it. Vinyl fences, shutters and roofs were the same way. Air conditioners were ruined, campers and cars dented, a friend of ours had their windshield broken. Whatever produce that was left in the garden was turned to soup and leaves and tree branches were scattered everywhere the next morning. Luckily, our house remained pretty much intact. We have a few dents in our siding, but not holes. The hood of Blake's truck took a beating, which he was pretty upset about. But after seeing some of the other damage we realized we were one of the lucky ones.

That is sooo crazy that hail could do so much damage. I always find it so interesting that after a storm, something beautiful comes. A rainbow. I think it is God saying that everything is going to be okay. Glad you were one of the lucky ones! Amazing how you can apply storms to trials in life, they are hard to get through, often times there has been a lot of damage done, but in the end (depending upon your attitude) you become a better and stronger person. You can see the beauty that came because you persevered. Sorry to go all deep on you. I just love gospel analogy's!
